Please Do Not Pass My Story By...
Thank you for taking the time to read my story... My name is Michelle Davison and I am a positive, hard working, fun-loving, single mom of an 11yr old boy and am almost 8 months pregnant with a baby girl. My ex-boyfriend left me with nothing when I announced to him that I was pregnant. It has been a very hard struggle not only with finances but in keeping faith that things will work out somehow. I will be going on 2 to 3 months maternity leave in June and it could possibly be longer than that being that I have had some major health problems as well. My job does not offer paid time off for maternity leave, and I do not have short-term disability, therefore, I will have NO income for those months and do not know how my rent, utilities, car and insurance will get paid. I tried to get assistance through the state but they only help people without jobs and that stay home to be on welfare. I am not one of those people. I have tried other agencies and I am one of those people who fall thru the cracks. It's all so unfair. I do not like being needy or being a statistic but I need your help and donations desperately as I am scared to death about how we will survive. I have looked everywhere to make a supplemental income and everything out there seem to be scams and want money to invest, which I do not have.
Are there really people out there that help others? I hope I can find that here.
